Review by hotel critic
Having recently enjoyed a culinary journey at LE VAINQUAI within Mercure Saint Omer Centre Gare, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the innovative dishes presented. The restaurant's ambiance exuded a refined charm that complemented the flavorful offerings. The buffet breakfast, a delightful affair with a continental and buffet spread, was varied and plentiful, catering to diverse tastes. This truly set the tone for a day of exploration and indulgence in the charming town of St Omer, where local gastronomic delights awaited. While the hotel itself features a restaurant and bar/lounge, my focus remained on the delightful creations curated by the skilled chefs at LE VAINQUAI. The hotel's proximity to various dining options such as Le Colegram, Le Phare Cafe, and Le Rialto offered a convenient array of choices for culinary excursions beyond the hotel's offerings. Mercure Saint Omer Centre Gare proved to be a beacon for gastronomes seeking a satisfying meal amidst a backdrop of comfort and sophistication.
